Well there are centipedes that commonly occur in homes, and are actually called house centipedes. They are very fast, about an inch long, and can commonly have a blue tinge to them. The legs are very long and spindly, making them appear almost covered in fine hairs. These little chilipods are quite good predators and love to eat othe rlittle invertebrate invaders that can also be found in most homes.
They may seem really creepy, but they are atcually in a way apositive thing to have around, because they eat other insects, but having them in the house would mean that there are other insects around, so whether its a good thing or not is really up to you to decide......

i hope this helps!

remember cleanliness is the key. I fyou want to avoid insects, just make sure to vaccuum and sweep more often. Even the cleanest houses can have invaders, make sure to clean under appliances, nd under counter tops. You can also dry the bottom of the bathtub and sink after use, this takes away any available water.
Good luck!

Well, they're not blue--but silver fish? They have a reflective coating and can sometimes look bluish: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silverfish

I get those bugs in my apartment (especially the bathroom and wet places); the owners have taken steps to get rid of all bugs throughout the "house" a few years ago, but the silverfish haven't left!
