Impeachment is a political process. Some will tell you that he hasn't done anything impeachable, and while that's probably true, it's beside the point.

The main reason is that there hasn't been nearly enough support in the House to even consider Impeachment. Now, while that's changing in January, don't look for impeachment proceedings to commence, because there's absolutely a pecking order on what actions are grave enough for impeachment, and Bush isn't anywhere near perjury (which was what really put Clinton over the line in 98).

why is it that Rebublicans have the nerve to respond by asking for what reason should Bush be impeached. Every time somebody shows them why, they say it is all b.s. yet these same people were thrilled when Clinton was impeached. It didnt' bother them a bit that K. Starr spent $30 million and several years investigating "whitewater"..... all that money spent and he had nothing on Clinton. His whole Whitewater report related to Monica. what a joke. he should be embarrassed. Clinton should have not been impeached because the question about his sexual relationship with Monica was not pertinent to the investigation of whitewater and therefore was not perjury.

To people on the right:
Bush has done A LOT of things that are impeachable for. How about lying about prewar evidence repeatedly, breaking the law with his domestic spying program, secret prisons, violations of international law or even involvement with Jack Abramoff?

To people on the left:
Calling for Bush's impeachment is stupid. As much as I'd love to see that son-of-a-b*tch in prison for what he has done to our great country, it is more important that we prove to America that we can get things done and improve lives. It is more important to raise the minimum wage, reform healthcare and secure our boarders than impeach Bush.

Unless Bush MAJORLY f-cks something up, he will serve his last two years in office with no fear of impeachment. Leave it to history books to judge him.

In order to be impeached he has to commit a crime. I know everyone says he lied to get the USA into a war, but the position he took was the same one that all of congress took. The president just takes the heat because he's at the top.

At the worst you can say that he is incompetent and should be impeached but most our our congressmen and half of our presidents have been incompetent too.

Democrats won't be in charge until January. Unrtil then he has a majority of rubberstampers. Anyway, when the Democrats take over, they'll be content to let Bush run out the string, declawed and defanged. History will be the judge, and he will not be thought of well.
