I think it is interesting how, all these Michigan fans call Florida a mediocre team. A mediocre team doesn't go 12-1 in the SEC. Florida is defensive team with the best front seven in the nation also a strong corner and a 1st team safety. It is not easy to score points on the gators.
Leak is a good quarter back (they also have Tebow for short yardage), and he has good recievers (caldwell, ingram, harvin, and Baker). They can run the ball with Harvin, Moore, or Wynn. Not to mention Billy Latsko is a bad a**.
Special teams have made plays all seasons.
Urban Meyer will have a solid game plan for Ohio State. It should be a good game.
Why are people discrediting Florida, because they didn't get their way?

I feel a lot of folks do not give Florida its due because they have not really dominated a ball game from their offensive play. I am an avid SEC fan and folks outside the conference do not understand that in many conference matchups you can throw out the record books because the wins and losses of a team do not really reflect how certain teams get up for in-conference opponents.
Of note too is that Florida was banged up pretty good on defense. In the game against Arkansas they did not substitute defensive linemen because they had none to put in the game. I believe Florida will come out even stronger on defense against Ohio St because the rest is what they need. Also, they will have to because Smith is one heck of a quarterback.

Great points.
I think Florida will beat Ohio St. without a problem. Michigan fans need to stop all that crying.
Michigans coach is stupid for saying Urban Meyer used politics. He was asked some questions and simply made some very good points for Florida. Why wouldn't he? Michigans coach didn't do that because there were no good reasons why Michigan should play Ohio St. again.
Tressel is a wimp for not voting. Everybody knows he would have voted for Florida. Ohio St. would have been punished if they would have had to play Michigan again. They proved they are better once, why should they have to do it again?

Non-SEC people will never understand that there's NCAA football, with a few great teams, and then there's SEC football. I actually think Michigan is a better team than Florida, but in a fantasy world one could replay the season, put Michigan in the SEC, and have them come through at 9-3. It's easy to be beaten to a bloody pulp during conference play. Survival is a major thing.

They sure give up alot of points for being the best front seven in the nation...The SEC is just filled with a bunch of average teams with no great teams...I've seen Florida play quite a few times this year and overall they are pretty sloppy! To say they are the best team that the SEC can produce just shows that the conference is pretty damn average..

The typical Michigan fan response -
"But, but, we only lost by three at Ohio State."
That's their whole argument. Nothing else.
For those who saw Colin Cowherd on ESPN, he had an absolutely fantastic response. Florida played a tougher schedule, beat better programs, and won its conference title.
As for the rematch, he basically said:
I've already seen this game before, several times over the past few years. I don't need to see it again. Wolverines lose, Buckeyes win, Tressel outcoaches Carr, Troy Smith eats Michigan's defense for lunch. It's Florida's turn.
Couldn't have said it better myself.

Florida is a very good team. They were champs in the best conference in college football, the SEC.
But, I still think they will lose to Ohio State.

1. The Michigan coach is a whiner/sore loser, I mean he isnt really even a loser, they get to play in the Rose bowl, better to win that one than lose the national, evntho they are gonna lose that one too
2. Florida rocks, and in my opinion has a way better chance at success vs. Ohio ST
