What are the advantages and disadvantages of school uniforms? Either that, or just tell me why you agree or disagree.

On a personal note, I went to private school for three years. Three of the first years of my life (first grade, kinder, and preschool/nursery or prep)

I never had them, but I wouldn't have minded much. One less thing to worry about when you get up in the morning.

I love school uniforms. I went to private for 15 years. I loved the uniforms because you don't have to get up early and pick out what you need to wear. I also like it because you don't have to worry about what people think about what you wear because they are wearin' the same thing. My uniform was a green shirt with yellow writing and khaki pants, white shoes, white socks and a brown belt.

Well for one it makes it that much easier to get dressed in the morning. Then you also don't have to worry about violating school dress code rules like how baggy your pants are, how short your skirt is, how high of high heels, how low a v-neck shirt is, spaghetti straps verses sleeveless shirts, ripped or holey jeans, low rise jeans etc. I'm in college now and have the freedom of wearing whatever I want but back in high school I wish they would have done school uniforms so I wouldn't have to worry about breaking any of the 50 billion different parts of the school dress code.

I love my school uniform! I miss it lots after I grad from sec school! Now everymorning I have to wake up 15min earlier to think about what to wear to school!
And plus, I dun know abt others, but being in uniform makes me behave more, cos if I did anything wrong, ppl can track me down, lol
Oh~ and uniforms are soo cute and sexy! even thoese plain white ones! =)

we have uniforms and they are really pretty nice. I like that I can concentrate on my hair and makeup in the mornigs instead of worrying over what to wear. it helps with my little brother and sister too and makes life easier for all of us. I have nice clothes to wear at other times

i feel that all the kids at all schools no matter where they live or where their from , should wear school uniforms because the clothing that these kids are wearing now is kinda outrageous and they do not know the limits of respecting themselves and others and showing to much it seems to me like a necesity to them if you agree please read or leave a comment thank you very much for reading.

i am in college now. from kindergarten through high school, i wore school uniforms. it creates equality among students, and non-students can easily be recognized. and you don't have to impress anybody with designer "stuff."

I think most guys want to see girls in school uniforms. It brings out the dirty old man in every guy.
