I am newly divorced. My ex-husband is supposed to take child visitations every other weekend. The youngest child is 2 yrs old, not quite potty trained yet...My question is should I be responsible for sending her diapers/pullups for her visits or should he have his own supply at his place? Those things are expensive!

It should be his responsibility, even if he pays child support. He is the father, not a babysitter, he should be responsible.

That's just wrong. I was an occasional bedwetter when I was young. Diapers at 5 years old would have f*cked me up. One possible solution is, buy the rubber liner + bed sheets etc. yourself and give it to the ex-wife. Teach the daughter how to wash the sheets herself (it's not that difficult to operate a washer/dryer) or send over extra sheets and have her bring back the soiled ones. That takes away the ex-wife's arguments (and how does she have the extra money to buy diapers? They're expensive ...) but somehow I still don't think this one's going to fly with her. If it comes down to that, you may need to talk to a lawyer and see what your prospects are. I don't see how she can reasonably "force" you to put a diaper on an occasional bedwetter. Is she just looking for an excuse to try to take over custody and make your lives miserable?

No. As a responsible father, he should have his own. You may wish to give him one or two diapers, just in case he hasn't bought them yet. No need for your toddler to suffer.

They are his responsibility, just as feeding the child is his responsibility.

If you don't send them, he would have to supply them. Give him sizes and where to purchase.

It's his responsibility, send a few with your baby and just leave it at that. Don't accomodate him, please.
