Imagine both players at their peak of physical condition. There would be no weapoons involved. No plate glass windows to throw guys through, and no chairs to smash over their heads. Just man-to-man hand-to-hand.

I would pick the Mailman on this one. I wasn't a big fan of the Karl even when he was a Lakers (hard to say since I am a big fan of the Lakers) but the boy is rip. Some of those clips they showed him trucking, or working on his farm...I think the guy was on roids or something. Boy was strong...and remember, he had some wrestling experience when he did WWF...hahahahaha.

I think it purely would be Karl Malone. Based on the fact, that he grew up pretty much a farmer, farmers' are definately tough people. I believe Malones physical condition reflected on his work ethic.
Barkley on the other hand was a phenominal athlete for his size. But at the same time, he did alot of talking, never really taking any action.
I'd pick the Mail Man any day, at any time of his life against Barkley.

I never liked Malone that much either, but I think he would win this one. Malone was always in awesome physical shape and you could tell by the way he played - he was pretty strong! Sir Charles was the Round Mound of Rebound and now he is the Round Mound of Donuts - that guy has never been in good playing shape!

The Mailman, without a doubt. His off-season training was one of a kind. In 1998, the U.S. actually sent a few Navy Seals to observe and try his routine for a week, and they all quit (all 8 of them) by the second day.
Plus, remember when he dropped David Robinson like a sack of potatoes? It was purely an accident, but he got suspended just because of the shock of the action. And the Admiral, he was one of the most fit and strongest of players as well.

Great Question!! I gotta go with The Mailman cause Charles was never really in great shape but the Mailman was pretty impressive
plus he is bigger and stronger.

Sir Charles is a warrior... I would say Charles.
