Telling my husband I want a divorce. I really didnt but said it because I was hurt.

I have told a number of lies in my life, both to myself and to others. I believe if I had one to retract and never would have happened I believe I would that I would take back a lie I told to myself. The last guy I was in a relationship with was for 5 1/2 years. I believe that I knew he was wrong for me, an alcoholic and an emotional and mental abuser. I lied to myself thinking I could make the relationship better but I believe now I was wrong. If I had been truthful with myself then I wouldn't have suffered as long as I did when I was with him.

im really not sure but that question got me thinking, what lie have i told that would make a difference in my life now. very good question but i dont have an answer. making me think though

Everytime i cried and my mom asked me whats wrong i told her it was just stress from school...I wish I could have told her it was because of a broken heart.

the lie that cost me my entire family.. on my way to school one day at the age of 5 lied to the school teacher and told her my mom was home, she called found out she wasnt and hadnt been for weeks, i was picked up by cps.. i shouldnt have answered or just told her she was running a errand i dunno..

first of all, this is a really good question
and I would say telling my best friend I did not want to kiss him after he asked me to, even though I did (he has a girlfriend, I was being a good person....oh well)

I don't regret any of my lies. I don't do it often though. When I lie, it's for a good reason - good enough for me anyway.
