The blacks that he insulted want money, OMG, why did I know this was gonna happen. I remember when they first showed the video, I thought to myself, well those black guys are about to be rich thanks to the ACLU, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and they will milk it as much as they can. Now that I hear they don't know how much money it will take to heal the wounds, I am not surprised at all, I knew they were going after money, easy money for no work at all is what their culture is all about anyway. Of course a white guy calling a black a N***** is racist but a black calling a white a Cr*ckerAss White Boy is not. Go figure. What do you think the moral of the story is? I think it's don't ever insult a black person because they will cry racism and everyone will feel sorry for them, or if you are black the moral is, let someone famous insult you and you will be rich without having to work.

for one you idiot, look at the bigger picture, his outburst wasn't a part of his skit! when an African American person gets you upset is the N word the first thing that comes to your mind? do you think of lynching them like they did 50 years ago? if so then you are racist just like him. Them crying out for money is ridiculous but don't brand all African Americans as being simple, if it was any race being attacked all will cry out for money, everybody sue for everything these days so don't you dare try to point it at a certain race. Also I am so sick of people like you that turn situations around to make it appear as if nothing wrong with what was said, If that outburst was apart of Richards act then it wouldn't be a big deal but it was done out of anger, everyone shows their true colors when they are mad, so what he was being Heckled, what comedian isn't? that is how they do their comebacks! I mean Seriously America get a a ***** grip and quit trying to act like African Americans are crying about that damn N word because we aren't, it is the way he carried himself and the other slurs he used. Quit trying to cover it up and act like he didn't say any other racial comments. I am so sick of this episode I wish the world moves on because we have, African Americans are not hung up over it so please quit making it like our entire race is because of two money hungry guys. And in regards to Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson they just need to show their face, If the world quit making it a ***** big deal and let alone we all can move on with our life even the in closet racist such as Richards. Seinfeld sales had a 75% increase after the incident so his whole point was proven, don't no one give a *** about when an African American is insulted then they turn around and turn it on us as if we are the ones who continue to discuss the matter... get over it! please! and quit brandin all African Americans because of those two guys, and it isn't about the N word so please stop making it out to be!

You need to get a clue and stop saying that's what all black people are about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! None of them were in the right at all, not those guys and not Richards. He should have had more control than that. Guess what, I'm black and I work very hard for my money! I don't take handouts and don't expect anyone to take care of me. So before you open your ignorant mouth and start grouping all blacks in the same category, think about how others are going to feel. I really can't stand ignorant people but the world is full of them!

Well, I don't think that money can heal "wounds"...I think a better solution would be if Michael Richards would donate the money to some sort of anti-racism charity for educational work. At least the money would do some good then.

Well, wait a minute, man.
Let's say you were in a comedy club, watching some has-been perform a comedy act that was sinking faster than Whitney Houston's career. Once you, your friends and the rest of the audience start to boo the guy, he singles you and your friends out of the crowd and starts to say something like, "GET HIM OUTTA HERE...HE'S A HONKY! GET HIM OUTTA HERE, HE'S A HONKY!" In addition, this comedian continues to go on and rant for roughly 10 minutes, with so many racial slurs and so on. How would you react?
The three men in question probably won't make a load of money off of Mr. Richards, but they've taught him a valuable lesson. What's worse is this, Michael Richards only appeared on Letterman and apologized once he knew the story was going to leak--a whole week later.
These men are suing him not to profit off of him, but to teach him a lesson. And that lesson is this, we will NOT tolerate [you] making us the grunt of your jokes and to prove it, we're going to hit you where it hurts--in your wallet!

It replaced into estimated for years it replaced into purely a remember of time in the past a terrorist attack got here approximately on U.S. soil. in the process the Clinton administration, the human beings stored an intensive eye on Bin encumbered's activities, giving severe concept to knocking him off. on reflection,Clinton later pronounced he replaced into sorry he did no longer supply the order. So in a feeling it wasn't a marvel. What DID marvel all human beings replaced into the arrogance of the attack, and the quantity of the wear and tear. Who could have foreseen that al-Quaida might hijack 4 planes on the comparable time and wreck the twin Towers,in the midsection of ny city? It replaced into like some thing out of a action picture, different than the undesirable adult males gained. specific, that replaced into the marvel,no longer the undeniable fact that an attack ultimately occurred.

in our country we have the right to be racist...we can like or dislike any one we want, for whatever dumb@ss reason we want......when i first saw the video i had some sympathy for the black guys, but then as i continued to watch i hear them flinging racial slurs right back....there went my sympathy.....it's ridiculous to sue some-one for calling you a name....are schoolchildren gonna start needing lawyers when they're picking on each other in the schoolyard??....it's ridiculous......michael richards was wrong (tho did nothing illegal) and the black guys were just as wrong for returning racial slurs

I had a feeling that someone would try to make some money off this somehow. Not surprising, we are a litigious society.
