This particular fight is a faith-based political fight plain and simple. Hizbullah (Iran's mobile army of troublemakers) is tasked with disrupting the Democratic government of Lebanon. It is Iran's attempt to eject any western influence in the region. They have been sniffing around Iran hot and heavy recently in an attempt to strengthen their power foothold. Lebanon is a link in the chain of nations that they wish to hold sway over. This is exactly why running away from the fight in Iraq is such a bad idea.

A less powerful Iran = better conditions for all in the ME. Including the people of Lebanon. So, to directly answer your question, the answer depends on IF we finish what was started. If the Iraqi government is strengthened and is set to defend the country against aggression...no. If we back away too soon and Iraq falls to Iran...yes, without a doubt.
