I have this fear which is quite uncommon, actually I don't know a single person who has the same, and I'm a psychology student...

Here goes: I'm afraid of out of order installations, especially during the winter when there is ice on everything (ig: frozen swimming pools)... I'd be terrified to visit Six Flags during the winter (or any time outside business hours, for that matter) ....

Is there even a name for this, or do you have any idea how to explain this fear??

you could just really need whats in or at the out of order place or thing. Which is why you're actually scared of it.

You know, people say psychology students want to become psychologists because they don't know how to deal with their own fears and problems! And i have no clue what to call that!
