Maybe we should make an example of them and cut one of their hands off? Maybe we should brand them on their cheek so that everyone knows they are cheaters who take money they don't deserve? Maybe we could just make them wear a shirt, like that one convicted child molester, that says, "I steal things from the government and the poor...please kick me in the nuts." What do you think? What kind of person do you have to be to steal money like that?

Cut off a hand? Make them use BOTH their hands to rebuild areas devastated by Katrina.
They should be forced to live in squalid conditions and should be fed only the minimum to keep them strong enough to work.
Killing them or imprisoning them will not help the people who were hurt by Katrina. Making these creeps pay back 100 times what they took WILL help.
If you want to humiliate them, make them wear orange jumpsuits that say "I stole from Katrina's victims" on the front and back.

What really frosts me is that they are still getting handouts - every time FEMA tries to cut the funding to these low-life bloodsuckers, they howl and pitch a fit and threaten to sue, so the handouts continue. These losers were worthless before, and nothing is going to change that. They destroyed the housing trailers they were given, even though those trailers were way nicer than anything they had before, and now they just want more and more and more. I say cut them off NOW - not another dime - time to send the Katrina Debris back to New Orleans, put them to work rebuilding, get them off the public teat.

Since the jails and prisons are so overcrowded I say we send them down to LA and they get to help rebuild the levy system. 12 hours a day, one meal break, no pay. They work off everything they stole then they do 60 days in lock up. Then they should have to repay everything they took from the government, garnish their wages until its paid off.

It's the victims who used the money for booze and strip clubs that bother me. They suffered a great loss, no question. But when someone uses their victim status for vices I have a problem.
