Depends on the size of your house (square footage), amount of insulation you already have, the efficiency of the unit you are purchasing (AFUE rating), are you also wanting to have cooling installed with it or not, & name brand of the unit......prices range anywhere from $2000 (45,000 BTU) to $3300 (110, BTU) or higher, depending on the location of the country you live at.......you can get a free estimate from most companies to determine what unit would be best suited for you......Enjoy your new system!!!!

I'm getting gas central heating put in on 18th, I'm in Scotland. Company is Corgi registered, they are putting in a Worcester boiler of a size for 3 bed house with one bathroom, 6 radiators (should have had 8 but because of the design of house they can't fit them in so they have had to go for larger ones in a couple of places). Installing a cooker point and removing the old storage heaters. All radiators have thermostats and there is a 7 day control box. Everything is included and it is costing £2350.00.

They did say they were not the cheapest around or the most expensive but they used good materials.

Hope that helps

Without any thing else to go on,
how long is a piece of string?

£ 2K for your Combi boiler and £ 250 per radiator. and you shouldn't be to far out but then that depends were you live, north or south.

Just remember the engineer must by law be CORGI reg. and also hold an energy efficient certificate so that he can register the installation, another must by law.

H.S.E. has just prosecuted a house holder for not using a qualified installer.

I was quoted £2000 for a 3 bed semi, with no particular special requirements.

there is no average, it depends on what type of boiler you want and how many radiators it is to run, Is is oil or gas, and how long it will take to install.
