Will the liberals approach Iraq's problems as they did in with civil rights and racial issues in the 60's????
Question Details: All the dems and libs have to do first let Muslims in Iraq know that they can not pray before, during or after any government meeting and that the new rules are "separation of church and state",, pass a Civil rights act and start bussing Shites into sunni territory and Sunni's into Shite heavily populated areas, pass an "iraqi affirmative action law" for each group, give them all Ginsu knives and let the peace talks begin...just like the did in the 60's...the main thing is that Osama knows that there is a new sheriff in town - the Democrats..- you know the same party Clinton belonged to....I feel safer already....

You forgot about declaring a "War on Poverty" then throwing tons of money at the problem.

Talk about starting a 'War' without knowing who the opposition was, not having a good strategy on how to attack, how much it would cost, or having an exit strategy. Last figures show there has been 6 TRILLION dollars spent to date and when I look around poverty still isn't whipped. But then during the same time LBJ (and his Democraticly controlled Congress) started raiding the social security funds to balance the budget.
