Anything from the following albums:

Paradise Theater - Styx
1984 - Van Halen
Pyromania - Def Leppard
Slippery When Wet - Bon Jovi
Master of Puppets - Metallica

Then there's Journey, Boston, Damn Yankees, Kansas, Motley Crue...the list goes on.

Listen to your local classic rock station for a couple of hours, I'm sure you'll come up with all kinds of good stuff.

Paranoid, by Black Sabbath is a great Road Trip album, about anything from Led Zeppelin, If you like AC/DC you'll probably like Motorhead, Ace of Spades is a great album. Any Rush pre Presto, early ZZTop, pre Eliminator, one of my favorite road trip albums is Some Enchanted Evening by Blue Oyster Cult.

What better time to start listening to the complete Rolling Stones anthology!
Want more? Try some Queen . Not enough? Add some classic U2 to the mix.
All three of those groups are timeless.
