if you meant micrologist, that is someone who pays attention to petty details.

mirologist is not a listed word in the dictionary.
If it came into the language, it might be derived from Latin "miror" (to wonder at) and take on the meaning of "someone who studies wonderful things".
If derived from Greek μειρομαι (meiromai ~ receive as one's due), it could mean someone who studies how people's share of something or fate is determined.
