2. Lemmings that think you NEED to be married by a certain age.

I see people my age, early to mid 20s, that are having panic attacks because they are single.

Because we've been brought up to believe that you NEED to be married, otherwise, there's "something" wrong with you. In my culture, if you aren't married when you are young (early twenties or so) there's gotta be something wrong with you. People will often think you are gay or something. I really don't care what they think so long I live my life as I see it fit and don't do anything illegal, inmoral or unethical.

I believe that alot of it is social conformity. I also think that people are not always comfortable with themselves and that drives the "need" to be married. I got married when I was 28 and I am glad that I waited and did not settle down with someone just for the sake of settling down.

right...as you said.... Need to be married ...but this could be fatal flow for a single one decided to find his or hers "destiny " just for a marriage.
But sometimes you need just some one to share your every thing with...
