Any of the Star Wars movies, although they were most certainly not critically acclaimed.

Sorry to disagree with you people but Citizen Kane is a masterpiece. Today people today do not realize how revolutionary it was when it came out. Same goes for The Wizard of Oz and 2001 A Space Odyssey.

Cache(Hidden), the French movie from this year. The critics all gave this horrible movie 4 stars. It was boring and awful, everyone in the theater thought so too. When are these critics going to look out for our best interests?

21 Grams. The most cold film I have ever seen, especially for a film that is supposed to be all about emotions!

PS- Jimbo, if you are a homophobe, why watch Brokeback Mountain? Think someone is a little gay curious

its kind of sad that so many great movies are being thrown under the bus here but i think one of the most overrated movies would be King Kong (except for the great CGI work) and Million Dollar Baby (though it was a great movie, dont think it was best that came out that year).

The new Star Wars for sure... just about anything with Tom Cruise other than Top Gun, Scarface and the Godfather's... sorry I just don't like mobster movies... I didn't see anything creative in them.. just violence.
