First of all sir, there is no such thing as a stupid answer. Incomplete/ ambiguous/irrelevant, but not stupid. Secondly, could you not ask rhetorical questions on this forum. Thirdly, it is certainly a shame that the statue should be desecrated, but please understand that a statue is not the sole representative of all that Baba Ambedkar has achieved for our country, so desecrating a statue is hooliganism, not really the best political statement. His legacy to us, lives on in myriad ways like respecting labour, equal religiour social rights to people engaged in what we think of as demeaning jobs (what accordig to our caste system were called untouchables). Fourthly, why does being educated have to do with it? Simply by saying this and implicitly insulting the illiterate (not using the word uneducated) , you have insulted Baba Ambedkar's teaching and understanding.

It is really Shameful that somebody did harm Dr. Ambedkar's statue. You and I know that this was done just to gain Media and Political mileage, nothing else.
Only legitimate justification of this incidence could be that person who vandalized the statue doesn't like the Indian Constitution or Reservation policies (which is a big Issue in India these days). So he just took his anger on Statue of symbol of Indian Constitution, which was wrong. I am against these kinds of protest. It doesn't suit the nation of Mahatma Gandhi.
And Indian Constitution is not greatest, it has few deficiency, which can be improved upon.

I'm not going to say that this is a stupid question. What do you mean by 'you guys'?,...the rest of the world? This act of vandalism was done by one or a few people. Unfortunately we don't live in a perfect world with perfect people. Acts of vandalism happen and when it happens to the un-famous it is lucky to be reported in a local newspaper,..and yet the friends/family that are traumatized by the act are equally if not more upset. These statue of Ambedkar are mostly in dalit majority areas. So no one can destroy a statue secretly.periodically this is done to rake up Dalit riots and damage to national property.
Since a dalit is not a tax payer it does not hurt him

No one gain any thing by desecrating statue but it only shows his/her mental status such person are actually frustrated in life & have no contructive work to do so they indulge in destructive deeds. What I personally feel we should rather follow the great path showed by these great people rather then even building there statues all around let there staues be in our mind & we cotinueing work they left behind.
