Dearheart, these folks sound like they'd be joyous if you made them a card; but you might consider getting them a gas card to their usual station or perhaps a CD from one of their favourite artists. No matter what you give them, I'm certain they'll be pleased. It's very kind of them to keep you safe. Please give them my compliments and Blessings on you, my dear.

Walmart has great gift sets, as does Target and KMart.....maybe a cute hot cocoa set with mugs, a hot sauce set, a soup kit with soup bowls, etc. They have some cute ones....for under $20!
Something for their home would be good too...candlesticks, a down throw for the living room, Glad Scented OIl trio set, a Christmas flower centerpiece, Christmas ornaments.
Good luck. I would give them something they can all enjoy, instead of individual gifts...that way you get something nice for yoru money!

I really like the resturant gift card idea and if they have kids maybe you could offer to babysit for them also while they went out for dinner and a movie by themselves.

something you know their house needs out of your experience living there...
a garlic press...
a nice platter...
a book they'd like to read
a mat for the door
or throw rug
since you live there, you know what the house needs.
use that knowledge.
