I want to see what people think when they think about these three items here. Me personally, I like the art of anime and hentai. the creators must have fun making them.

Well, hentai is just a subcategory of anime- although I'll admit there's some pretty creative stuff done there. The overfiend saga is still one of the best (and most visually disturbing) anime epics ever, and it was done over 20 years ago?
Anime has far better writing and storylines than conventional American cartoons which are mostly done for kids- and very poorly. The stuff on Satuday mornings is unwatchable.
The best American animated films are almost exclusively CGI - Shrek, the Incredibles, Finding Nemo, Toy Story, etc. Every year there's another brilliant CGI movie like those, but cartoons? There hasn't been a truly great one since the Lion King!!! Keep in mind the Lion King wasn't visually anything special, but had depth of story, character development & music etc. I think from pure artwork & animation standpoint, things were better back in the old days of Max Fleischer Superman cartoons and early Disney (around the 1950s) than today.
So my vote goes to anime- I'm still waiting for an American animated series comparable to Cowboy Bebop or Samurai Champloo to be created! But maybe it won't- I guess it's just too expensive to have artists do all that drawing by hand, when you can render it on a computer instead...

Well, if you're into anime porn, hentai would be your top choice. I think that anime is far more captivating than american cartoons because the story lines are far more compelling. Also, the artwork of anime is much more pleasing to look at.

I believe that anime usually has better story lines. I respect well done hentai, not stuff drawn to sell quickly in order to make money. Old style american cartoon like Hannah-Barbera stuff holds a special place in my heart since I grew up with them, but looking back, the stories weren't there. Lovable characters though.

Well, that depends. For the most part I prefer anime, although there are a number of american cartoons (which technically could be considered anime since darn near all the animators are asain, lol) and a few hentai ("I dream of Mimi" - in spite of dealing with sexual situations - is an excellent series to watch if you want to laugh your a** off) in my collection.

Well, hentai is just animated porn. Maybe it's manga that you're thinking of? Manga is a different style of artwork. I think Manga and Anime are great, mangas the best. But I'm a dirty girl, so I like the hentai's too...
