You are right,We should accept people who are different ,that's what is great about mankind.We need unique individuals to make life fun and get different perspectives on things.Some people want clones and that is not right.How would the world be if every plant and animal and person was the same.Boring and non changing.No progress would take place

Some people just can't accept the fact that others are different from them. They may feel a sense of jealousy in the fact that something is different about everybody else. Something they may feel that is unacceptable to their beliefs or upbringings, but something they desire nontheless. For example: many countries feel envious of the United States because of many of the freedoms we enjoy that would on anyother occasion get them killed. Freedom of speech is a major issue in many islamic countries. Speaking for people in general, with the same freedoms and customs you may have...people hate doing things differently, so they feel acustomed to passing judgement on others.

It is hostility regarding what people find important that becomes a problem. For example, if someone thinks women should be treated fairly, they are very offended by religions and cultures that treat them bad. Other people think freedom is of central importance, so they hate others who try to restrict them.

differences among people should be respected and also enjoyed for their uniqueness...however ego plays a big part in this. somewhere in our ego we want people to be just like we are...same values, same beliefs...
differences add spice to our lives...we should enjoy them.
