Any motor of any time isn't going to be cheap. Check Majestic Honda for their price. I'm sure that the service included, Diagnostic time, actual labor and parts. Even if its a one hour job it is still possible for it to come out to that price.
Most reputable shops hourly rates are $100+ an hour. So if it took 1/2 hour to diagnose that it was the wiper motor, that is $50+$100 for the actual labor, and add whatever the price of the motor was.
Easiest route was to just go to the junkyard and get one yourself. This way you learn how to put it back in your car. Much cheaper and you learn a little something about cars.

Tough call. Did they charge you $85.00 just to look at it? Most dealerships do. How much did you pay for parts? You will pay more for parts on a Honda because they're almost exclusively made in Japan, but I can't imagine that a wiper motor would be that expensive. How about labor? If you live in or near a major city the labor shouldn't cost much more than $60.00 an hour (competition). If you took it to a dealership, I would advise you in the future NOT to take it to the dealer for repairs -- almost all dealers charge an arm and a leg and don't do good work.

$371 is way high if you are even remotely capable of such repairs yourself! Check out www.helms.com and get your factory service manual so you can do almost all such repairs yourself! While you may burn $100 for the manual(s), they will be worth their weight in gold for the entire time you own your car. Even if you don't do the work yourself, the manual(s) will give you all you need to know to talk smart with any service shop and even look up the most likely part and check prices.
Good luck!

No you did not get ripped off, lol. Keep in mind that most of your bill went for that part alone. I once paid $538 for a new alternator and belt installed in my 1987 acura integra. The reason why it costs soo much had to do with the location of the alternator on the car. The alternator ran me refurbished for just $69.99.

seventy 9 money could be there diagnostic value , which in case you do the maintenance they could purely value you for the fix value basically. so a ways as a music up you may no longer choose certainly spark plugs yet i think of they are plat (60k) probably iridium (100k) you have alot of miles left for them. yet you would be bobbing up for a 30k provider. ive labored interior the provider dept at toyota and honda for 13years. that's a stable provider to do. a properly maintained vehicle will run super for years yet to come back.

For a honda that is an average price. Because the car and parts are foreign you are going to be paying more for parts and repairs than any of your friends that drive junky domestic cars.

Those little motors can be very expensive. I would guess that it is about right. I had a window motor replaced and it was 400 plus.

No...sounds about fair. You need to say where you are. Some places you expect to pay more...
