I will be coming back from a cruise with my boyfriend on Monday at 7am and have nothing to do until my flight at 630pm. Any suggestions of what to do all day? Is there much to do around the port? We're mid 20s. Thanks!

If you like gambling, a Las Vegas-style casino just opened in between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. It's the first casino in Florida that's not on Indian property. It's called Gulfstream Park and it's really nice. If you don't have casinos where you live, it could be a fun way to spend the day. They also have live poker on the bottom floor that is open Thursday-Monday at noon. The casino opens at 9am Sunday-Thursday. What would be really good is if you met someone on the cruise that has a car parked at the port and they could drop you off there and then you'd only have to pay for a cab back.

A lunch suggestion would be Don Shula's Steakhouse in Miami Lakes, Just a few minutes away. One of the best steakhouses in the country. Also has a lot of football memorabilia.

Just take a cab to South Beach. There are a lot of bars & restaurants on the strip, and a lot of people watching to do
