What do Muslims do for HUMOR?

Question

A sense of humor seems to be one thing that they sorely lack! So, I'm just curious as to what makes muslims laugh that doesn't involve blowing up people.

PS to Foofoo - Funny, then, how we never hear about the ones you speak of.

PPS to Foofoo---I'd like to NOT think that! But it makes it difficult when we have incidents happen such as the men from Arizona who claimed they were kicked off a plane because of racism, and then we come to find out they were actually praying out loud with negative references about the United States, praising their "jihad", for all on the plane to hear. There's a trust issue here that cannot be ignored...especially when Muslims here will condemn 9/11 publicly, and then secretly go funneling their own moneys to Al Qaeda. It certainly doesn't deserve our "blind trust".
That said, may the more peaceful contingency of Islam become supreme...rather than the alternative we are accustomed to seeing. Peace!

ps to speed - NOT the "blind media"..that's passing on the blame....which squarely goes to Islamic militants. Perhaps you should have a little more of your judgement directed at THEM instead of the Americans who have PLENTY of reason to have a judgement or two about their actions against us...you can't expect tolerance and respect when you're not tolerant and respectful yourself.
Too bad so many muslims are more judgemental with US than they are with those who are supposedly perverting their beleif system. It kind of makes us wonder whether or not this is TRULY a perversion.

Hey! What do you mean! Being Muslim doesn't mean you're not funny. In case you don't know, Islam is a religion and Muslims have ethnic backgrounds. You've never met one and you say this. And I'm so sick and tired of the blowing up stereotype. You're such a racist. We do things for fun including all ranges of sports, watching tv, movies....etc.

I was going to give a sad answer as well, but seeing as there are so many stereotype, plane silly, offensive answers I won´t bother.

Ive been to many Muslim countries and they are more hospitable, relaxed and friendly than any western countries,

Just because a few are portrayed in the media to be lunatic murderers doesn´t mean they all are.

Have you ever wondered why so called terrorists only attack civilians, soldiers and other people who have nothing to to do with political decisions whatsoever? (apart from the IRA & ETA)

Why don´t they attempt to kill a few top notch businessmen and politicians by flying plans into thier houses, why did the Pentagon plane do a circle and avoid Rumsfelds office when it hit the Pentagon.

Come on, its not hard is it. They are sponsered by the politicians to cause fear and unrest so they can bring in police state rules like the patriot act.

What are you talking about? Have you ever met a Muslim? They are regular people just like you and me (well, maybe not you). They tell jokes, watch comical films, make fun of one another and everything else we do. And just so you know, the ones "blowing people up" are extremists, just like the Branch Davidians in Waco were.

What do we do for humor? Well, one of my favorite things to do for humor is look up stupid, ignorant, steretypical questions on Yahoo Answers and read all of the retarded answers that people give. It's hilarious. Especially when half of the answers are from people who have either 1) Never read the Koran 2) Never met a muslim 3) their only relationship with a muslim has been through Fox News 4) Base their answer on what commander in cheif/GOP tells them. So keep on bringing them, I'm having a really good ab workout from all this laughing.

I have a question for you though. Are you here to ask the quesiton or are you here to ask the question and then tell off anyone who gives you an answer (through the "addition details" feature)? 'Cause you know, if you want to push your beleifs on others and tell everyone you disagree with that they're wrong, you can always write an essay and have Bill O'reilly read it during the O'reilly Factor. This isn't the site for that.

P.S. Brad, if you knew anything about Islam, you'd know that there are Muslims all over the world and not all are named Muhammed, Ahmed and Ali. Your name doesn't make you Muslim, your name doesn't make you any less Muslim. And if you'd research the religion you'd know that there are millions of converts/reverts and not all change their name.

Wow, just as I expected you'd bring age into this. You really can't get any lamer than that, can you. heh. I brought Bush/GOP into this because everything that anyone says on the internet against Muslims, they've probably hear it from a far right spin machine and have no actual knowledge on the subject. I can bet you that 90% of the people who have beef with Islam didn't even know that Islam existed before 9/11 OR they've never read the whole Koran, instead they just go website to website looking for quotes from the Koran that happen to mention "unbeleiver" and "fight";quotes taken out of context. I can't prove it but I know it's true because whenever I encounter these people, they freeze whenever I ask them what "Jihad" means, or what the 5 pillars of Islam are. It's a fact. The majority of people who bash Islam have very little common knowledge on it. Some smarter ones do their homework and look up the basics but for the most part, they aren't well read on the religion. I never mentioned that I was muslim because I never had the oppertunity until I came to this question. So, there you have.

You MAY (may with captial letter 'cause I don't know your age) have an age advantage but that won't make up for your lack of knowledge on Islam.

I as an individual don't have to do any proving to you. Who the hell are you? Who made you God? I DON'T CARE about what you think. It's as simple as that. What does the middle east have to do with Islam? There are more Muslims in China then there are in Saudi Arabia. You see, everytime you post something you show your ignorance. If you knew Muslims and where they are you'd know that there are far FAR more muslims outside of the ME than there are in the ME. But that won't change anything now will it? -The Bush admin. is in bed with the Saudi royal family, just like 16 years ago.
-The US gives unconditional support to Israel just like 16-30 years ago
-The US still relies on ME oil, just like for the past 30 years

I NEVER condoned Osama Bin Laden. there was recently a comedy show of arab comedians.
remember a week or so ago a popular iraqi comedian was killed.
most muslims don't think it's funny when people get blown up.
