I'm about ready to just throw in the towel and build my wall and live in my little courtyard and believe that I will never find what I am looking for.
I am 40, I look 30, and all I want is a man who will RESPECT me. I'm not asking for somebody to be up my @ss 24/7, but when you are with me, let ME be the one you focus on.
Get to know me, and realize that I DON'T like roses........I like WILDFLOWERS! I DON'T like dinner in a fancy, overpriced restaurant........TAKE ME TO A PROFESSIONAL SPORTS GAME!
Why is it so hard for you guys to grasp that not all women want to be "romanced" all the time? I just want YOU, with all your flaws and follies, but the BEAUTY of it is that you KNOW me and you UNDERSTAND me? Give me what I WANT, not what some "consultant" tells you I NEED.........

AMEN, GIRL! I'm gonna go ahead an I say I don't know EXACTLY how you feel but I can relate! You sound like me! I don't have to be "wined and dined", {even though that's nice every once in awhile}. I just wanna chill at my house and watch a NBA basketball game on the couch!
You're probably thinkin' as you read this what does a 16 year old GIRL know about relationships! BUT JUST HEAR ME OUT! I'm only 16, but I'm been looking for the qualities I want in my in my "dream" guy for awhile. Many people tell me I'm "way beyond my years". I, too, feel like I'm 16 going on 31 or something! lol And I don't see the SIMPLE qualities I'm looking for! I just want a guy who's: honest, trustworthy, has a sense of humor, cares about me, and when we're together he thinks and only wants to be with me. I'm not asking for much, but WHY CAN'T I FIND WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR?! E-MAIL ME IF YOU WANT TO TALK!!!!

You sound like a really wonderful woman and I'm sorry you seem to be having some trouble finding a good man but he's out there for you. Don't give up hope, I'm sure there are a lot of decent men out there that would love to be with you. Hell, I'd ask you out if I didn't have so much to worry about right now without involving someone else in my mess. ::hug:: Hang in there. He's out there.

Everyone is different, keep searching and you will find. Or find a nice honest man and train him, thats what my wife did to me.
Now she´s happy, I don´t get nagged and im allowed to take the chains off now and again:)
