Is the Geico lizard really British? And if so, what comment on the people of England is Geico trying to broadcast?

Is it that that company sees the Brit’s as beings of superior intelligence and great communicators? Or, is this a conspiracy to convey that they are reptilian in nature and thus of a lower life form?

Oh, and for you that are going to freak out and flame the hell out of me, I am just trying to bring a bit of humor to this section that is so full of rage! Learn to laugh... you just might enjoy it.

Although I do like the upper-class British accent, I have to say that I hate ALL Geico commercials! They're so bloody annoying! It kind of reminds me of this cool picture my mom once e-mailed me. It was of an eagle with a lizard in its mouth, and on the bottom it read, "The End of All Geico Commercials".

Hmm, the British Geico lizard does NOT have an American sense of humour!
