I am looking for some legitimate locations in the Point Pleasant WV area for my group to check out during a visit this coming spring. Any place that it is not illegal to be at, of course. :) Help!!!

Thanks for your answer. I tried emailing you but I got a message that you are away until 12/31/09? I'd love more information.

I've been researching and investigating paranormal locations for several years now and have been to plenty of old and abandonded cememteries. ;)

I am just not familiar with the area and would love to get some info from people who do know the area. :)

Oops, rodman, you brought up a point I forgot to mention. I do know about the Mothman, and we are doing alot of research on the sightings and such. I guess I should say I'm asking for some other locations. :)

I live in Kingwood West Virginia...and if you are looking for a haunted ground...well, we own one..where the wars went through..many siteings have been made by me and my family up there..although the creepiest place was called the RED BRICK CHURCH CEMETERY...a forgotten burned down church in the woods..back in the day, when the church was having service..a fire from one of the candles fell over and burned the church down..with everyone in it..now everynight here can hear the creams of those who perished..but the most haunted place recorded in our state is Terra Alta W.V....if you want to visit the Red Brick Church..send me an e-mail at Eternaldragon69x@aol.com...I'll give ya directions..to find haunted places in point pleasant...go online and search under haunted places in point pleasant wv..happy haunting!!!

I can not answer the question but keep well clear of the location described, for some reason, destroyed cemeteries are particular
difficult for some people to deal with. About one in four people will have a very disturbing experience at such a site.
I have been to one such site were the villages destroyed the church in the 1850s it was Norman, built around 12thcentury.
I am by no means one to scare easily and visited the site at full moon on the autunanl equinox.
It was easily the most frightning few hour I'd ever experienced., one of my friends who was totally fearless really lost control and it took several month for her to settle down.
An idea for you, look into sites of old or disused wells in the area, you can always be sure their are entities at theses sites. Not always what you would expect.

You can not find any such sites that are empirical supported, ie, legitimate. Come back to reality, there is no evidence, ever, for what you seek. Stop being delusional.

That's easy - zero! Ghosts are imaginary, like all other paranormal "phenomena."
