This guy asked a question yesterday and basically said he is not a democrat or republican but he answered a question the day before which contradicted that statement. When I referred back to his answer from the day before it somehow mysteriously changed and no longer had his liberal views in it. Should yahoo block us from changing our answers once they have been submitted?

I don't mind if you go back and take out a double word or correct spelling mistakes just don't change your whole answer because you contradicted yourself.

No, better to let it be and find out the truth. If he couldn't have changed his answers you might not have found this out. I think tho you are putting to much importance on what people do and say here. I do it for fun but I don't let it get to me.

FREE SPEECH. People have the Right to control the content of their speech here or otherwise, INCLUDING YOU.

Do you want a dumbass answer posted by you to stand as your sole position on an issue for all eternity? Never change your mind upon more careful reflection? Sure you have. Everyone has.

Besides, just because it's deleted from this public forum, do you REALLY think that Yahoo! hasn't maintained a complete log of the original answer for it's corporate marketing and commercial purposes? Be real. Naturally, they've done so. Nothing is every truely "deleted" from a digital world, just buried and overwritten.

Well first of all you don't really know if it's him or not. It doesn't matter if you go to change your answer, unless you're talking about politics, but people only do it for some points that are COMPLETELY useless.....There's a reason for the "Check Spelling" thing so I don't know why pple don't use it!

This forum is not to focus on any particular individual or to critize people who are here.

Yahoo should not block us from changing answers, as we may write things in haste, or we may change our views when we get more information on the subject.

People have a change of heart, not including him. However, I posted one- no, several questions concerning attitudes on Y!A. It's mutually held that most people do what they do, concerning what they say and to what extent, not because they believe in it, but to spur conversation and electricity. Don't take it too personally, Abu.

You're whole question is pretty petty. It's b*ll busting for no useful reason that I can see. If you want to make a point about not being able to change an answer then make it.

People have the right to change their minds. They also have the right to learn something. you should feel proud that he changed his mind because of something you said. If the term 'flip flop' had never been invented, it wouldn't look so evil to cons when people change their mind. Cons were so mad that dems voted against someone that Pelosi wanted. I was ecstatic to see some substance, instead of voting party lines! FINALLY!
