I believe that gay marriages should be allowed. This is 2006 (pretty much 2007). The rest of the world is a lot more understanding towards gays than the U.S. I don't think it's the president alone that determines if gays are happy. It's the people of the U.S. that elect the leaders to represent them, and those leaders are the ones who write legislation. So, it isn't on the government to make the change, it;s up to us (the people) to do so. If we the people can start to accept gays as equals, then the people in general will elect more understanding leaders and the result will be a government that passes legislation legalizing gay marriage.

Absolutely!
Marriage is based on the fact the 2 people are in love and have decided to spend their lives together. It should not matter if the couple is homsexual or heterosexual. Many of the countries in the world have already recognized same sex unions/ marriages. While we do have some fair minded politicians in our country, so far they have been a day late and a dollar short!

Would you still be happy if they said that you could get marred but you can't have government money? Because it not about being happy or about love. It's about money. If the gays would come out and just say it's all about money I could back them for the government does tax singles more than marred persons but as long as they try to hide it behind words like love and being happy, I have a problem.

I believe that god wanted everybody to be happy and when he put us on this earth he knew that people weren't going to be perfect so i think that the world should not judge gay people because of there choices because at the end of the day only god can judge me so let them enjoy it. (and by the way im straight)
