I've heard that they can, although it's rare, and means that periods continue. It would be that the 'ovulating mechanism' doesn't get switched-off straight away, but usually is after a couple of months.
It's possible for (non-identical) twins to be concieved on different days, but that's probably two eggs released during the same ovulation period.
If you are pregnant and bleeding, get it checked out to be on the safe side.xx

No, the body gives off a hormone to stop ovulation once pregnant, kind of like natural BC.

It is rare but can happen with in the first month or two of pregnancy. Usually what happens is a woman will release one egg and it fertilized then some time lateranother egg may release and be fertilized usually with in a month of each other . There have only been a few cases that I have heard of.

well i have heard of a woman who got pregnant by ivf then went to have a check up scan and had two different aged babies so whilst rare anythings possible!
