If you are loooking for evidence that it exists, why not check out web sites about it. Just type "stop world hunger" into Google and dozens of sites will pop up.

If you're researching world hunger for a class, I recommend finding "World Hunger: Twelve Myths" at your library. By the way, the book isn't saying that it's a myth that world hunger exists. It explains myths like "there's not enough food in the world" -- because world hunger is actually a problem of food distribution, not overall food production.

I assume you mean perspective. You can see hunger on the streets anywhere. There are people on the streets of large cities, people living under bridges, people without food, shelter, adequate clothing, health care, ect. even in the U.S. I lived near Houston, TX (where Bush's dad lives) and saw homeless on the street all the time. I'd like to know more about what you want to know, though.

It's always nice to question everything, especially things we've only seen on TV/media in general. I guess the only way to really find out is go there and see with your own eyes.

Is the reality of it in dispute? Why not travel to areas of Africa that have had severe drought, or politivcal disruptions, and look at all the emaciated people?
