What should I get my room mate for Christmas?

My room mate and I aren't very close but I'd like to get her something for Christmas. I don't know what she really likes.

She doesn't wear make up or do her hair. She doesn't dress up. No perfume, no nail polish, no hair stuff...she's very different.

try to find out more about her, first of all... does she like books? movies? accessories? if you can't ask her directly, you can try to contact her friends or family, or check her profile on the internet (if she has myspace, friendster, multiply, etc)... at least you'd be accurate as to what she prefers... good luck!

A goodie bag fil with girl stuff like body wash hair clips nail poliah etc. or gym clothes or a cute name brand sweater

Try talking to her, ask her what her favorite stores are or whatever, and then go to one of those stores and get a gift card to it for like $20 or $25. Gift cards are good because then you dont have to risk buying something she doesnt like, that way with a gift card to a store she likes, she can pick out whatever she wants. Good luck!

I don't know how you can live with someone and not know anything that they like or dislike, but have you considered a gift certificate? You can't go wrong. Your roommate can get whatever she wants with the few bucks you gave her. It may not be very personal, but obviously, neither is your relationship with her.

See what kinds of perfumes, makeups, etc. she uses. Or you can get her a magazine subscription for around $15 (Shape, Glamour, Cosmo, etc.)
