This person is a self-centered gold-digger taking advantage of everyone too weak to say 'no'. Call the ASPCA or the Animal Humane Society about the horse. The horse will be cared for and the woman could be arrested and charged with neglect and cruelty to animals. It may be hard for you to do this, but maybe in the future, this horse could actually die from being mistreated ... starvation is mistreatment and neglect (in case you and others are confused). You can't and shouldn't bear the expense of feeding this animal. It's irresponsible of the owner to just up-and-leave for any period of time without making arrangements for the care of the horse. MAKE THE CALL!

first, notify management that this horse has been abandoned. then notify the authorities. second, at least put the horse outside provided there's shelter if it's cold and rainy. and at least toss it some hay. second, if it's stall is dirty the other horses in the barn are suffering also. i understand the financial difficulties, but i would not in good consience be able to walk past this horse without helping it. notify your local rescue organization and explain the situation. when she returns, tell her where she can find her horse. they probably won't release it back to her and the horse will be better off. and take pictures of the conditions in case there's a court case.

You report her to animal control. It is illegal not to make arrangements for the care of your animals, not to mention just plain mean and cruel. She obviously does not care about the horse, so she should not mind if the horse is not there anymore.

Definitely notify the management of the boarding location.

I hate women who play dumb like that; they give good women a bad name. On the other hand, I also hate the dumb men who fall for the flirtation hook, line & sinker when they should know better!

I agree with the others. Blow the whistle on this girl. Some people only respond to strong boundaries. She sounds like one of them. People like this are no good and will take advantage of you and others as long as you let them.

Be a kind person and feed the horse

When she gets back let her know about herself. If she is as bad as you say she is then who cares if she gets mad at you.
