why are so many young kids drawn to My Space when they know that it is used by perverts to stalk kids

because kids want to get people into trouble.

That can be said for most places in the internet.
Hopefully these kids will be smart enough to use good judgment, but one cannot change their life just because of some low-lifes. Most kids use MySpace to stay in touch with friends or meet other bloggers with similar interests. Though I prefer Livejournal to MySpace, neither one should be avoided simply because of the possibility of meeting a pervert. But good judgment should be used at all times.

I use myspace but i only use it to talk to friends and family i know all the people on my list personally its the kids fault for talking to people they dont know its not fair for the people who use it corectly and are of age and not lieing if you really dont want your fid to use it block the websight its possible

They think they're safe. And really, they are as long as they know how to be....As long as they don't give out vital information and make sure they know the people they are dealing with on myspace.

Some kids use it as a popularity contest, some use it because they're friends do, and others(like myself) use it for it's "intended" purpose-to stay in touch with my friends.

myspace is a way to connect with people who live in diffrent states and towns and meet new people mypace also is a good way to find out about new bands and music thats not mainstreem thats why we like it newfriends and music

Because everyone is doing it. . My little sister can't use myspace, but she uses Bebo, its better for kids because its oriented towards them! just check it out.
And just because people use myspace doesnt make us perverts!

Because they use it as a friend to friend to friend email service. That's what i do with mine. If you are smart, you only add friends who you know and not just any person.
