Why are these politicians playing around with U.S.Troops Lives?

They don't even have enough protective gear for our soldiers. Parents, friends and others, sacrificing to send their loved ones the things they need. The government has tens of billions of dollars for Halliburton and other US contractors.
Now, more for political reasons than anything else I would suggest, select Democrats are going to follow suit re additional troops. Deployments, re-deployments, & now a call for new units, but nothing of substance for the troops. except sacrifice.

As the debate over Iraq intensifies, leading Democrat Silvestre Reyes is calling for the deployment of more U.S. troops.

Dec. 5. 2006 - In a surprise twist in the debate over Iraq, Rep. Silvestre Reyes, the soon-to-be chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, said he wants to see an increase of 20,000 to 30,000 U.S. troops as part of a stepped up effort to “dismantle the militias.”

If they're going to do this, we, as U.S. citizens, should DEMAND THAT NO MORE TROOPS BE SENT TO IRAQ WITHout proper gear! All we hear is "we support the troops"

Im confused as to how trying to win a war is playing around with troops lives? And all the money that should go to the war isnt because, ignorant fools choose to not support it.

Many Democrats, to prove that they don't support the war and that they are cheap, originally voted to send troops to Iraq, but now don't want to pay to protect them.
