If the lie is going to harm someone or mislead them I would feel guilty. The reason for guilty feelings is because we have done something wrong! If I told a lie that was hurtful or harmful to someone I might feel guilty enough to apologize and set the record straight. Scary, but if you want to clear your conscience, you have to do it!
Now if the lie is a white lie, I would not feel bad. It's better to spare someone's feelings than to crush their spirits. However, if you think the person is better served by being honest (like they are wearing something really hideous, they are behaving in an offensive way) but you know it would hurt their feelings if you told the truth, then you might still want to tell the truth because it will help them. Nobody wants to be ostracized or made fun of. And it could happen if someone is doing something seriously annoying and doesn't realize it. Then you would need to honest but tactful.
But the big lies, yes, it does make me feel guilty.

I don't lie, the only thing lieing will do is get you into a worse situation. I usually use my head and go about doing business where I have to lie as that is the way I am, I simply don't like to hurt anybody

It depends on what you've lied about. If it's just a small lie or ou've lied to stop someone getting hurt etc it shouldn't make u feel guilty. If u lie about something big and important then u should feel guilty as you shouldn't have lied in the first place.

It all depends on the magnitude of the lie. If its a white lie... I actually have a laugh... then let it go. But if its a deceptive lie... then I feel very guilty. I just feel the need to 'fess up to someone.

I don't lie as I find it very difficult. I do not like lies, they are very destructive, even white ones.

But....I don't give out information unless directly asked, for example..

If I saw my friends husband kissing another woman I would tell him I saw him and would warn him that he had a week to tell my friend what he had been doing. If my friend asked me if her husband was having an affair I would say I did not know as I would not, he may have been kissing another, but having an affair? If, on the other hand, my friend asked me if her husband had ever kissed another woman, I would say yes, he had.
