Place a brown paper bag on the wax/clothing, then use a warm iron on top of the paper, the wax should transfer to the paper, keep moving the paper to a "clean" part until it is all removed. You may have an oily residue, wash with hot soapy water

If I were you, I would avoid using heat to try to get rid of the wax. You can try the "gum solution" which is basically the easiest method I can offer. Stick your "garment" into the freezer. leave it there for around an hour. Wax, like gum, will solidify as it freezes and will probably be easier to remove than applying heat.

If the clothes can be ironed, you can do that.
Put the stained clothes "wax side" down onto some rags, and press the iron to the other side.
The wax will melt and run down into the rag.

use ice cubes to make the wax brittle then it should remove easily. be careful using heat to remove it because some coloured waxes leave the color behind when melted
