Sometimes you have to ask yourself what these captioning people are thinking. For instance, sometimes it will be a grammatical mistake, like (Jamie Lee Curtis, House Arrest) "I know these people are your hostages, but they are also guests in *hour* home." But there are a few rare occasions where the sentences make no sense whatsoever, such as (The Pacifier, in the production of The Sound of Music) "Climb every mountain... Ford every tree..."
So, have you ever noticed a big mistake that made you say, "What?!"

You do have to wonder sometimes. I watched a show just last night where the guy mumbled "Why'd you have to go and do that?" But the captioning said, and I quote, "Why'd you judo the cat?"
I had to take a step back. What on earth were they thinking? I can't hear what they're saying so I'll write whatever I think he's saying? Judo the cat? What the heck?

For fun you can watch Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon with the English words dubbed in and the English subtitles on and you get 2 different sentences all together. Which one is right??

Yeah! I always find misspellings. Also ads w/o any meaning.

yea! On tv also it does that. or they'll just leave out things.
