Relax Sweetie,
I have carried 4 babies to term and with almost every one of them, (especially the first one) I went thru the most awful period of time when I was just SO sure that I was going to start my period every second! It is just that SO many of the things that you feel in the early weeks of your pregnancy are so similar to the things you feel right before you start your period! It is not fair but that is the way it works.
I assume that you have had a positive pregnancy test. There is nothing to worry about. The feeling will go away and pretty soon you will start feeling pregnant and not like you are getting ready to start your period!
Take care and feel free to contact me if you need to.
Love and Blessings
Lady T~

It can be normal but it can also be not normal so you should definitely call your doctor or OBGYN if you have chosen one yet. If you are really early in your pregnancy (less than 8 weeks) they will probably do some blood tests for HCG and Progesterone. If you are further than that, they will probably do an ultrasound. By the way, I had this happen and it was just a ruptured cyst...I have also had an early miscarriage and had no cramping at all with that one so you really can't tell anything just by your symptoms. Good luck and I hope all is fine!

Yes, it's very normal. It's your uterus expanding to make some room for the little one. Congratulations!

It's totally normal. As a matter of fact that will probably happen off and on during your pregnancy. Just so long as you aren't bleeding, I wouldn't worry about it. Congratulations!

It may or may not be normal. If it is just mild discomfort and and there are no other symptoms such as a discharge ov very light pink to red. But if the cramping becomes more severe and there is a pink to red discharge you need to go to the er and have an ultrasound to enshure everything is going as it should.
I pray all is well for you and you little one!
