Not a great idea to ask that kind of thing on here really. It's illegal to tamper with any motor fuel, especially one which has lower duty on it for agricultural use.

It is the other way around White to Red. If a vehicle is found to be running on or has run on red diesel (it stains the filter) when pulled by VOSA the user can expect a considerable fine. I think that you also get your motor impounded as well until fines are paid. It would be cheaper to bung 20% vegetable oil in with your white diesel instead as it is just as cheap and you won't have to look over your shoulder every day.

It was dyed red because it was set for ag use and to keep it from being used otherwise.
Practically, it would be cheaper to buy commercial diesel than to try and remove the dye.

it's not, it's the other way around. red dye is added to the diesel for non highway use. it is not taxed the same and is supposed to be used for farm use (primarily). if you use red diesel in a vehicle that travels the highway, the die will be evident when you take it in for service and the establishment to services it is legally obligated to report.

closley guarded secret mate, involving passing it through a centrifuge and a series of fine filters.
Best to fit a seperate tank with a seperate electric pump and hidden filler cap, most diesel camper vans use the Bog catch tank for red diesel which they steal from farmers

Diesel is actually not red naturally. Die is added to get the red color.

By some crafty filtering and so on. It doesn't work, there's still a tracer which Customs will find!
