A friend of mine (girl, 16) goes to her hockey pratice every single monday around 7.30. While cycling a man shows up (20-30 years old) and tries to pull her of her bike each time. It doesnt matter what route she cycles he allways shows up! its happened 4 times in a row now! Last time he was so rude that she even has scratches all over her hand now! The point is that she doesnt want to tell her parents, while its necessary if we want to go to the police which is nessery i think orr..? So what's the best i can do and what the hell is this man up too? Those bad things that i got in my mind or isnt it that bad? thx

she needs to tell her parents, because they are her parents, and her well-being is their job. but if she's more comfortable, there is nothing wrong with going to another adult first, be it a coach, a teacher, a counselor, your parents, or the cops. the police should be involved regardless. at the very least, he is harrassing her, almost sounds like stalking. this is not something to take lightly. until she goes to an adult, she shouldn't be going out alone either. and if she won't ask for help, you should do it for her. her safety is the most important thing here.

I can't believe that your thinking twice about calling the police... What if something happened to your friend? What if this guy just grabbed her and you never saw her again? What if...What if.... Damn their are so many things that this psychopath can do to your friend and all that you are doing is counting the times the she sees this guy. If I were you I would had called the cops from the first time that it happened and about the scratches what if next time is worse? Call the police and fast and about her parents tell them too and they will thank you for being a good friend. If you cherish your friendship with this girl then act now and try to make it stop now before it's too late. God Bless and I hope that you do the right thing.

There are some creepy people around and I think the best thing she could do is go to the police. If it means she has to tell her parents then she should do it because her safety is the most important issue. I'm sure if she explains what has been going on to them they will be more than happy to support her in putting an end to that guy bothering her.

You need to go to the police and file a report. Even if it means haveing to tell your parents. If you do not file a report, and it happens repeatedly there is not history of the event. And if something happens it will be considered the first time for the occurancy. But if you file a report, and it keeps happening, you can then file a restraining order.
But you really want to get it on a report so that the police has something to go on.

Why wouldn't she want to tell her parents?
She should tell her parents and have someone take her to practice. What are you gonna wait until she doesn't come home one night and then say omg what if that man that always grabs her finally got her.
Let her parents and the police know about this guy that way everybody can find out who he is and if something god forbid does happen to your friend then everyone knows who to look for first.

Tell her parents, and call the police. He may be a mental patient, he may have rape or robbery in mind - you just don't know. But it's the job of the police to do something about this. Either way, you have to involve them before something more serious happens to your friend.

She needs to call the police and make them do something about it. Why would she not tell her parents? They're there to protect her. She's risking her life, and others, not doing anything about it. I would stop cycling if I was her, until this thing gets handled.

Don't be stupid tell your parents and have them call hers. they need to know that this is going on and then call the cops and have them follow her and pick him up when he trys to do this again.. that way she won't have to worry about the jerk out there anymore..
Listen to the news little girls . this is happening more and more all the time and the kids are coming up dead.. not returned to home..
think about it .. do what is right..

he wants to kidnap her and rape and kill her. I say go to the police, your parents, her parents, the school officials, and anyone else you can think of. She should not be outside alone while this stalker is out there roaming free.
