Yeah, and the crazy part is that it turned out to be the right move. I had what I THOUGHT I wanted right in front of me, on a silver platter.
If I hadn't walked away, I'd have had "success" and avoided some difficult years, but I wouldn't be where I am right now.
I just know I would've ended up miserable instead of happy.

Not if it's something I really really want. I'm tenacious and single minded in just about everything I do, and there have been times when the journey is almost complete, I've stopped, looked around, and realized what I'm seeking isn't what I want. But even then, I've learned something.

I have too much pride to ever walk away from anything.

I am learning that i do need to learn how to walk away though. Sometimes it's just not worth it.

I was going to say never, but I did walk away once.....I left college for someone I loved.....but other than that, never.

Yes,on various matters,some regrets,some ending in sighs of relief...as they say,you never know what you have until you lose it,but what they fail to tell you is it may be regrettable or beneficial..=)
