OK, so I have a pet turtle, and today is cleaning day. But here's the problem, I can't pull my tank up off my stand. What on Earth am I supposed to do-- and remember turtle poop stinks like monkey butt, my house is going to smell like monkey butt in a few short hours!

siphon water out of tank into a bucket/
refill with tap water but use a water conditioner, u can get it at any pet store

Scoop the water and stuff out, break the things apart, and rebuild the tank in a way that is healthier for the turtle and easier for you to care for it.

Turtle tanks should not stink at all. The ways to combat this is to provide a nice, big tank (10 gallons of water per inch of turtle minimum) and strong filtration to keep the water clean.

If you have an aquatic turtle you can purchase a cleaning tool called a Python. I have one and I love it. What it does is it sucks out all of the water via your sink and replaces the water with just a pull of a switch. I purchased it at Wal-Mart for $35.00. I also saw it at Petco for $85.00...so needless to say Wal-Mart is the best deal. See the link below.....

ok do you have a vacum cleaner that can absorb wather ? if yes you can use that but be carefull

or simply take a bowl and scoop everything out wash the decoration and refresh

use a python. they suck the water out of the tank. work great. you can get one at any pet store. they even have ones that can hook up to your sink so its easy to fill it.
