Molly fish will have fry every 28 to 30 days, so every month. That is how long it takes for the female to be inseminated by the male, for the eggs to be fertilized, develop, hatch, and for the babies to be released.
Her belly will get quite huge as she gets closer, and may even look square. A few hours before, she may stop eating, and will swim up and down the tank.

It depends on how long she has already been preggo. They have fry about every 28-30 days.
When she gets close to birth she may refuse food
her belly will get square
She may hide
and you may see her breathing heavy!
