-If it's a lot of money I would get an attorney - you could probably draft a threatening letter yourself and then pay an attorney the time to revise and send it to the company (this would save a little on the atty's billable hours)

A letter from an attorney often scares people straight -- no one wants litigation.

Take their license number and report them to the Better Business Bureau. Each state has different laws. Then go to the state licensing bureau. In CT, there are funds set up to right wrongs.
