Whats the most effective way to approach this holiday situation?
I work for a pharmacy that has 2 offices of about 150 employees in each. One office about 40 miles away got 2 days off for thanksgiving as to our one day off. Now i found out they will be getting off 2 days for christmas and we get only one. Are their any legalities in this? My direct supervisor states she doesnt mind working but the rest of the office here does. But as you can imagine the morality of this office is shot and gone to hell. what should i do?
i forgot to mention that its a paid holiday for them and we dont get time and half. its just a regualar day. They have 2 more days off than we do in a calender year

Unless it is written in your contract that you have two days holiday each time and/or that you will be paid extra for working the second day then there's nothing you can do.
I assume you mean "morale", not "morality"! On the second days liven things up: go out together for a fun lunch or get everyone to bring in a different lunch item to share.
If you are old enough to work, you are old enough to know life isn't fair. At least you've learned that now.

Find out why they are getting the extra day. Is it something the store manager is doing? Is it possibly under two different district managers? Find out why then talk to someone at your store about changing the problem.
