Do you take shelter? Do you put your middle finger up in the wind and say...fcukin bring it on? Do you put on rain gear and go out in it and fight through it? Do you ignore it?

Of course we are talking about life storms not real ones...but you get what I am asking?

Since I'm a mature woman, I have weathered many storms. Each has taught me something new.

The most important thing I have learned is not to waste time ranting and raving, feeling sorry for myself or blaming someone else.

If you must, allow yourself 5 minutes to be afraid or panic. Give it your all and really let yourself go. Then get busy with the solution

First of all, Every day ends after 24 hours and the sun comes up every morning.

Think the problem through. How did this happen? What options do I have (Don't know of any options? Research is easy today or ask someone you trust.) What are the pros and cons of each option? Now make a plan to rectify the situation. Follow your plan but don't be rigid. You may have to adjust it along the way.

You have solved the problem but, you aren't finished yet. When you are calm and can think rationally, Think over the episode. What were the reasons for the upset? What could you have done differently? What did you try but didn't work? What did you learn. Do you feel stronger?

Every adversity is a lesson and each incident is a possibility of aquiring more strength and confidence for your future.

Much luck. Remember, If life was smooth, calm and safe, we would never grow and I would be oh, so bored.

I just batten down the hatches and fight it. People think I'm a softie, but when the storm hits, I'm right in the middle of it. I will overcome it one way or another and most of the time I do. I just wish I had a meteorologist to let me know when they're going to hit. The middle finger aspect doesn't hurt either!

I take it one step at a time and try not to get to stressed out a long the way. If things get to stressing I go to Y!A and take a break from it all, answer a few questions, joke around with Batman and go back to the family ready for the battles of life again.

Me personally, I am a true fighter because nothing in life can get me down enough to give up. I have too much to do and I've come too far to let it all go. The most important thing overall is that I believe in God and prayer, you can NEVER go wrong with that.
