I will paraphrase what Shakespeare wrote in a “A Midsumer’s Nite Dream”: “Love looks not with the eyes, but the heart…”

If a woman has the strength to pull herself out of prostitution and then share with a man the shame of her past, then one can only hope that the man that she chose to love has the strength to handle the truth. If the man has enough have character, and the love between the two has depth, then his love will not look upon her with his eyes, but with his heart.

I probably would not but I have seen it happen. When I was in the military a lot of guys married ex-prostitutes. Some of the marriages worked and some did not, same as marriages everywhere. The main differences was that they were young men and they were looking for more than sex (companionship\love) and the women were from poor countries and were prostitutes in order to make a living if not survive. Now back to your question in my opinion it depends on the man but most men would not do this, not because of the women but because the man is not looking to marry

Hey, don't let 'em get to you. Those as sholes are everywhere, trying to start something.

I'd marry an ex-prostitute or porn actress if they weren't still doing that. I might not have approved of their past but they don't have to approve mine either. It's all about the present and the future. If we love eachother, our pasts shouldn't get in the way.

And who says she was a prostitute for fun anyway? She might've needed the money for school or her family, which would be noble and honorable! I'd admire a woman for that!

the proverbial 'hooker with a heart of gold' eh? personally I'd be insecure 'bout guys walkin up to her in my presence and askin "Are ya free tonight? Is this your new pimp?" and stuff.. and the psychological aspect of it is pretty daunting... I wish i could say yes... but i know i can't...

I would never date an ex-prostitute.
Gross and I'm too jealous.
Plus, I already found the right one so I'm good.

That's just disgusting. Oh, what a repulsive thought. Only an ex prostitute could muster such a putrid idea!

Isn't this sort of like the proverbial "ex- alcoholic?" I mean once a professional drinker, always a professional drinker. It's easy to get the old job back.

If she had more to offer than what's between her legs, sure. Her past is none of my affair.
