I can solve your problem but first of all be clear how many routers you have one or two?
what you are doing with two routers?
ok if your problem is to share the net then folow these steps.
1:> connect all pc using switch and left one port for ADSL router.
2:> give ip to the router as 192.168.1.1
3:> now give ip to all other pc as 192.168.1.2, 192.168.1.3 and so on
4:> also you have to give default gateway to each pc as 192.168.1.1
5:> also you have to give dns to each pc. you will get this dns from your service provider. if you are using bsnl use this dns address 218.248.255.145
6:>you have to give this ip, default gateway and dns in each pc using network connection.
7:> now connect your router directly to the switch using patch cord.
8:> now you can access the net in every pc but don`t skip a single step
if you still face problem just mail me i will help you.
bye and tell me the result.

Okay. You don;t have a router, you have a MODEM. You need to GET a router, You can get those things at the friggin gas station these days. If your time is worth.. say $15 an hour.. DONT spend any more of it trying to get both machines to work off the modem.. You could maybe pull off some kind of daisy-chain between the computers over the next 6 hours of tedious configuring,.. Or you can go to any electronics store and drop maybe $40 on a router. A router (actually technically a NAT but you don't care) is designed to do exactly what you want to do. Connect more than one machine to the internet using a single connection. Go get a router, then set it up like this: Wall -> Modem -- Via CAT5 to WAN PORT (router) --> Out (LAN SIDE) via cat5 to the computers. Done.

Are you meaning ADSL MODEM, not router?
The modem and the router, you shouldn't have to make any real changes. Just plug the ADSL modem in, hook it up to the correct port on the router and then hook all the computers up to the router if it has 8 ports (if not, you may have to get a larger router that can handle 8 ports).
They SHOULD automatically register themselves on the network.
You shouldn't have to do much configuring, only if something doesn't connect correctly.
Hope I understood you correctly.

Get a switch to attach all of your PCs to and then just run one ethernet cable between the uplink port on the switch and one of the LAN ports on the router.
