In some Jewish mystical circles, Lilith was Adams first wife, who refused to submit to him and was banished from the garden. If you read Genesis, there are two creation stories.

Lilith was the first woman created by god for Adam, she wanted to be his equal since she was created exactly like him why should Adam act superior to her. There is also mention that, at least on the history channel, she wanted to practice a certain sexual position and Adam said no to both her being his equal and the sexual position. So she left and married the father of all evil and became mother to all monsters she later came back and attacked Eve. But that is as far as I know about the Jewish lore of Lilith.

She was supposedly the first wife of Adam. During sexual intercourse, Adam wanted her to to submit or in other words - be on the bottom. Lilith refused and said she would submit to no one and decided to leave the Garden of Eden. When she returned she found that Adam had a new wife who we know as Eve. In a jealous rage, while Adam was sleeping she had sex with him and became pregnant and fled some other part of the island. While she was there she made some pact or had children with a fallen angel (maybe Satan?). Im not to sure about this part. Adam told God what Lilith had done and asked God for assistance, i believe. God then sent 3 angels (i cant remember their names) that sent a message to Lilith saying if she didn't return to Adam, they would kill one of her children for each day she didn't return. Lilith being Lilith refused once again and had to reap the consequences, the death of her children.
Soooo, it is said that she is the one responsible for men having wet dreams and violating themselves by masturbation. Also, in her revenge she vowed to kill all male babies that were heirs to Adam in return for her children that were killed.
There are also links to her and the first Vampire. It's said that her children (with whoever was with her when she fled) were the first undead to walk the earth, feeding on the blood of humans to extend their lives.

From what I've heard, Lucifer rebelled against god because he refused to bow down and worship him just because he was god, so he left heaven in the sky to create a heaven on earth, now know as heck.
Lylith was the first woman god created and was supposed to be Adam's wife, but she left Adam because she didn't want to play second fiddle to him simply because he was a man.
So Lylith left Eden to join Lucifer on earth. Bird's of a feather...

according to legend She was Adam's first wife and wanted to be on top during certain physical activities. However, this was not suitable so she was banished from the Garden of Edan and became responsible for numerous demons who spite man.

I heard she was Adam's first wife. She was disobedient, so God killed all of her children and banished her from the Garden of Eden and gave Adam a good, obedient wife. Lylith then became a nightwitch, killing children and pregnant women.

spelled LILITH..was Adams first wife. LILITH is a "dark" form of the Goddess, identified as being vengeful, hostile to childbirth, and demanding of human sacrifice.Lilith's name means "night monster" and she was sometimes charactorized as a night demon or phantom who, like HECATE and LAMIA, personified evil and darkness. In the magical tradition of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, Lilith is described as the "Queen of the Night and of Demons" and is one of the QLIPPOTH, the negative form of MALKUTH.

I heard the story where she didn't like being Adams wife so she was kicked out of the garden. Then later I've heard she marred Cain her stepson.
